The Customer Account Enquiry window allows you to view the activity of a specified customer account. Actions such as generating an Interim Statement or transferring a transaction to a different account may also be taken from this window.
The Customer Account Enquiry window can be accessed from both the Customer Management and Retail Till modules.
From the Till module:
1. Click Enquiry.
2. Select 2. Customer Account Enquiry.
Or, from the Customer Management module:
1. Click Enquire.
2. Select 2. Customer Account Enquiry.
The Customer Account Enquiry window is displayed.
3.In the Customer field, enter the relevant customer’s name or Customer Number and press [Tab].
4. If required, select the relevant customer in the Customer Search window.
5. Click Okay to load the account data.
The account activity is displayed in the Customer Account Enquiry window.

Option | Description |
a. Customer | Enter the relevant Customer Name or Number in this field and press [Tab]. Click Okay to load the account data. |
b. Modify | Click Modify to launch the Customer Editing window. |
c. Opening Balance | Displays the Opening Balance in the Transactions panel. Checked by default. |
d. Direct Debit | Checked for customers sent up for Direct Debit account payments. |
e. Show All Trans | Checked by default. When checked, all transactions where the specified customer is selected are displayed. Uncheck and press [Enter] to display only transactions charged to the account. |
f. Start date and End date | Enter the relevant date range for the transactions you wish to view. |
g. Trans. Type | Click the dropdown to filter to a specific transaction type. Choose from:

h. Transactions panel | Displays list of transactions based on the options selected. |
i. Ageing | Displays Current, 30 Days, 60 Days and 90+ Days aged totals. |
j. Next /Prev | Displays Next or Previous page of the listed transactions. |
k. Enquire | Select a transaction and click Enquire to view details of the transaction. |
l. Transfer | Select a transaction and click Transfer to move the transaction to a different customer account. Refer to Transfer a transaction between customer accounts. |
m. Notes | Select a transaction and click Notes to add a note to the transaction. Refer to Add a Note to a Sales transaction. |
n. Interim Statement | Generate an Interim Statement. Refer to Print Interim Account Statements. |
o. Cancel | Close the Customer Account Enquiry window. |
