A transaction (sale or payment) recorded to the incorrect customer account can be transferred to the correct customer account in Minfos.

From the Customers module:

1. Select Customer Account Enquiry.

The Customer Account Enquiry window is displayed.

2. In the Customer field enter the name or Customer Code of the customer who was charged incorrectly, then press [Tab].

The Customer Search window is displayed.

3. Select the customer and click Okay.

4. Enter the Start date and End date that the transaction occurred between.

5. From the Trans. type drop-down menu, select the type of transaction that occurred.

The transactions that occurred within the search parameters are displayed.

6. Select the required transaction and click Transfer.

The Transfer Customer Transaction window is displayed.

7.  In the To Customer field enter the name or customer code of the customer you wish to transfer the transaction to, then press [Tab].

The Customer Search window is displayed.

8. Select the customer and click Okay.

The From Customer and To Customer fields will display the name of the customers selected. 

9. Check you have selected the correct customers, then click Okay to complete the transfer.

The selected transaction will now be recorded against the To Customer.
