The Minfos App is a phone app, available for Android, iOS, Honeywell and Zebra devices, which interfaces efficiently with Minfos.

With the Minfos App, you are able to:

  • Queue labels:  You can search for a product in the App and add it to the universal label queue in Minfos. Minfos will queue the product in the Label Queue in Stock Manager with one label
  • Stocktake: You can either replace your current SOH count or add to the existing SOH, changes are made in real time and can be audited using the Product Audit Report
  • Order: Allows you to ‘walk the store’ and create a simple order from their mobile device. The order will need to be reviewed/edited and transmitted to the supplier via Order Maintenance
  • Mark off Orders:
    • Receipt By Tote: Scan the barcode on the tote to mark off the items in that tote (currently, only Symbion integrates with this feature)
    • Receipt Order: Scan an item on the order and enter the quantity you received from the supplier, ideal for bulk orders/quantities
    • Quick Receipt: Scan each item in the order to 'mark off' each item individually
  • Assign products to a category: This feature of the Minfos App has been designed to allow pharmacy staff to ‘walk the store’ and assign products to the correct Category e.g. Location for stocktaking

The first step is to download and set up the App, refer here.

Note: This set up should not have to be repeated, as these details will be remembered. However, if you install a new Minfos Server or make changes to your Wi-Fi network this step may need to be repeated.

Then you will need to log into the app, refer here.

Once logged in, the Select a task screen is displayed.

Description

Queue Label

Allows you to scan/search for a product and add it to the label queue in Minfos Stock Manager. Refer to Queue a label from the Minfos App for guidance.

Stocktake

Allows you to stocktake products within your pharmacy. Refer to Stocktake using the Minfos App for guidance.


Order

Allows you to ‘walk the store’ and add items to an order in Minfos Order Maintenance. Refer to Order with the Minfos App for guidance.

Receipt Order

Allows you to receipt (mark off) stock on an invoice. You can scan/search for a product and enter the quantity you received, this is reflected in Counted column in Minfos Order Maintenance. Refer to Receipt Orders with the Minfos App for guidance.

Quick Receipt

Allows you to receipt (mark off) stock on an invoice. You can scan/search for a product and it updates as '1' received, this is reflected in the Counted column in Minfos Order Maintenance . Refer to Quick Receipt Orders with the Minfos App for guidance.

Receipt By Tote

Allows you to scan/enter the Symbion Tote barcode to update the quantity received, this is reflected in the Counted column in Minfos Order Maintenance. Refer to Receipt Orders by Tote with the Minfos App for guidance.

Assign To Category

Allows you to 'walk the store' and categorise your products. Refer to Assign Products to a Category with the Minfos App for guidance.
