Minfos provides Third Parties (external vendors) with secure access to your store’s database APIs via the cloud. To maintain security and accountability, all access must be requested and tracked through an auditable process.
This article outlines the steps required to grant or revoke access for a Third Party to your store’s data via the Cloud.
Note If a Third Party accesses your APIs locally on your store's network, we assume you have granted them access by permitting the installation of their application on your pharmacy's IT system. This type of access does not require a support ticket.
Requesting Access for a Third Party
If you need a Third Party to access your APIs via the Cloud, please follow the steps below:
- Raise a Ticket
Submit a request via the Minfos Help Centre.- Include the following in your request:
- Subject: “Grant Permission for Third Party Access via Cloud API”
- The Third Party Name: Provide the name of the Third Party who you are granting access to
- Contact: Your Name
- Include the following in your request:
- Review and Approval
Our Support team will review your request and ensure all information is complete. - Granting Access
Once approved, the Support team will securely configure access for the Third Party via the Cloud API. - Confirmation
You will receive confirmation once access has been granted, and the ticket will be closed with the status Done.
All requests and changes are logged to ensure a complete audit trail.
Revoking Access for a Third Party cia Cloud API
If you wish to stop a Third Party from accessing your APIs:
- Submit a Ticket
Submit a ticket via the Minfos Help Centre to request that access be revoked.- Include the Third Party’s name.
- Confirmation
Our Support team will revoke the access and notify you once completed. The ticket will be closed with the status Done.
