Selected reports in Minfos are able to be scheduled. Reports that have been scheduled will generate after the End of Day according to the set schedule. The generated report is then emailed to the specified recipients.

Step by step instructions

Your email credentials must be verified before you can successfully schedule reports in your pharmacy. These steps only need to be performed once.
1. From the Minfos Launch Pad, click Special and select Utilities. 
2. Click Shop Configuration and select the Email Configuration tab.
3. Review your Email Server Settings and click OK.
Your pharmacy is now set up to schedule reports.

1. First, you must re-verify your email credential before you can successfully schedule reports. Ensure your pharmacy has completed the steps above. 

Then, from the relevant report dialogue:

2. Select the relevant report parameters for the report. 

3. Click Schedule.

The Report Schedule window is displayed.

a. Enter a Name for the schedule.

b. Specify a Start Date for the schedule.

c. Select a Recurrence Pattern that the report will be generated by and then select from the sub-options available. Select from:

  • Once
  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
Note    To schedule a report to run at the end of every month, specify Day 31 of every 1 month. Where months have less than 31 days, reports will be generated on the last day of that month (for example, on 28th of February).
  • Yearly

d. If required, enter an End Date that the report should stop being generated after. This option is not available if Once is selected from the Recurrence Pattern options.    

e. The Method of delivery is set to Email.

f. Enter an Email Subject that will help you easily identify the report when it is emailed. For example, Daily Previous Takings report.

g. In the Email Recipients field, enter the email addresses you want to send the report to separated by a semicolon.

h. In the Email Body field, enter text to be included in the email with the report.

i. Click Save to save the schedule.  

Note    The Email Error is displayed if your email credentials need be verified in Minfos.Please verify your email settings in Shop Configuration and click OK before reattempting to schedule the report. For guidance refer to Email Configuration. 

The Report Schedule window is closed. 

The report will generate on the schedule you have set.
