Stock control, otherwise known as inventory control, is the process of tracking how much stock you have at any one time and the movement of that stock (also known as sales and purchases). For Stock Controllers or Retail Managers in pharmacy, stock control is comprised of many smaller tasks, including:

  • Adding products into your database
  • Ordering stock
  • Receiving orders
  • Managing supplier credits
  • Sending and receiving stock transfers
  • Printing price labels

This Minfos Learning Pathway is designed to help you confidently complete these tasks.

Note    If your pharmacy belongs to a multistore group or is connected to the Terry White Chemmart Hub, some actions (such as adding products and categories to your database) are completed by your head office and should not be completed in your pharmacy. Refer to your head office for further guidance.

Use the Minfos Calendar to stay organised

With all of these tasks, staying on top of things can be a challenge. That's where the Minfos Calendar comes in.

The Minfos Calendar is designed to enable you to easily record appointments or tasks against specific dates. It is an ideal communication method for team members who may not cross over shifts, but need to handover important information to one another.
