Electronic receipts (eReceipts) can be a convenient option for customers, allowing them to easily access and store their receipts. It can also help your pharmacy to move toward more paperless processes.

Minfos is able to send eReceipts via email without needing a third party integration. To send an eReceipt via SMS, see How to Send an eReceipt via SMS

  • If you have the eReceipt Dialog Popup option selected in your eReceipt configuration, once the transaction has been finalised the eReceipts window will display automatically.
    • If an eReceipt is not required, simply press [Esc] to close the window
      • The docket will then either print or
      • If the transaction is under your Prompt for Docket Threshold, you will be prompted to print the docket. Refer to Set up Optional Docket Printing at Till for more information.
    • If the customer opts for an eReceipt, the docket will not automatically print, however you can still print a copy from the Change screen, if required.
  • If you do not have the eReceipt Dialog Popup option selected, then your current workflow will not change, however, there is a new eReceipt option on the Change screen you can manually select if the customer’s wants an eReceipt.
  •  If a customer was selected during the sale and an email exists in the Details tab of the customer’s Minfos profile the eReceipt window will automatically populate with the customer’s email address. A customer can be selected during a transaction by Till options Select Customer, Scripts, Account or Lay By.

1. If required, the email address can be changed on the eReceipt window and Minfos will prompt you to Update Customer Details. Click YES to update the profile or NO to leave the profile email as is.

  • If no customer was selected during the transaction, the eReceipts window will display “ENTER RECIPIENT’S EMAIL ADDRESS”.

2. Enter the email address.

3. The Send button is only enabled once a simple email validation has occurred e.g. the email contains a @ and a .xx

The Please wait sending Email prompt is displayed.

The eReceipt is sent the customer and the Change screen is displayed.

c. Click eReceipt to send another copy of the eReceipt.

d. Click Reprint Docket to print a copy of the docket.

e. Click Okay to close the Change screen.

Note If multiple customers were selected throughout the transaction, the eReceipt window pre-populates with the email of the customer that was selected last.
