Enhancements

This release introduces several enhancements aimed at further strengthening the security of Minfos Cloud Backup. These improvements are part of our ongoing commitment to protecting your data and ensuring the reliability of our backup services.

Minfos has released this update for compliance reasons. It updates how GST is calculated when Loyalty Cash is used in transactions. GST is now applied only to the portion of the sale that the customer physically pays, rather than the total sale amount. For example, if a product costs $20 and the customer pays using $10 Loyalty Cash and $10 cash, GST will only be calculated on the $10 cash component (if the product is GST-applicable).

This change applies to all loyalty types that use cash, including Cash and Cash & Points, and works with any tender combination - such as cash, EFT, or credit card combined with Loyalty Cash.

Original and reprinted receipts now accurately display the applicable GST, and all relevant reports and windows have been updated to reflect the updated GST calculation. This includes Product Sales Enquiry, Sales by Range, Previous Takings, Till Takings, and End of Day summaries.

As communicated in the recent TerryWhite Chemmart network webinar, TerryWhite Chemmart is progressing into Phase 2 of the Private Label replenishment program.  As part of this phase, replenishment orders for Private Label products will now be automatically generated from your Minfos software. This replaces the previous manual ordering process managed by the TerryWhite Chemmart Support Office.

To support this transition, the ‘Enable Auto-send of Orders’ setting in Shop Configuration has been enabled in all TerryWhite Chemmart Minfos pharmacies. This enhancement enables automatic transmission of Private Label orders, improving inventory efficiency and reducing manual workload for pharmacy teams.
