In Minfos the Company of a product refers to the manufacturer, owner or original distributor of the product. For example, your usual Supplier of Panadol products is likely a wholesaler, but the Company is GlaxoSmithKline.
The Company is displayed in the Categories tab of each stockcard.
The Minfos Company Maintenance window allows you to manage the list of Companies in your database.
To access Company Maintenance:
1. Navigate to the Stock Manager module.
2. Click Maintenance, then select 3. Companies.
The Company Maintenance window is displayed.

A | Code | Automatically generated identifier unique to each Company. |
B | Company | Company name. |
C | Add | Click Add to launch the Company Entry window and create a new Company.

D | Change | Select a Company and click Change to edit the details. |
E | Delete | Select a Company and click Delete. Click Okay on the Company Delete window to confirm the deletion.

F | Enquire | Select a Company and click Enquire to view the details. |
G | Print a list of the Companies based on the current sort order. | |
H | Sort | Click Sort to change the sort order of the information. By default, the information is sorted by alphabetical order of the Company name. The information can also be by Company Code. |
I | Find | Click Find to search for a Company. The search criteria is dependent on the current sort order (Company name or code). |
J | Next/Prev | Navigate to the next or previous page of the list. |
K | Cancel | Exit the Company Maintenance window. |
