The Minfos Promotions module allows you to effortlessly set up and manage your promotions. Minfos supports several types of promotions which enables pharmacies to choose the promotion type that best suits their needs.

The Minfos Promotion module allows you to:

Set sales price

All products included in the promotion are sold at the specified promotional price.

Buy Panadol Cold and Flu Cap 48s for $14.49, normal retail price is $16.99.

$ off retail price

The specified dollar value is discounted from the retail price of each product included in the promotion.

$2 off the retail price of all vitamin supplements.

% off retail price

The specified percentage is discounted from the retail price of each product included in the promotion.

15% off the retail price of selected perfumes.

Multibuy for $ amt

Specify the range of products on promotion and the minimum quantity that the customer must purchase in order for them to receive the dollar amount discount.

1. Buy any 3 Revlon Products and get the cheapest for $5.

 

All items are qualifying and discountable – no specific product needs to be purchased to qualify for the discount.

2. Buy 1 Faulding Fish Oil and receive any other Faulding product/s for $10.


3. Buy 2 Faulding Fish Oils and receive any additional Faulding Product/s at $10.

 

A set amount of qualifying items must be purchased to be eligible for the set amount of discountable products.

Multibuy for % offThere are three methods this promotion type can be set up:

Products are selected as qualifying and discountable.

Multiple products are part of the promotion, however to receive the discount, the customer must purchase the qualifying product.


All products are qualified to receive an equal discount.


1. Buy any 3 Revlon products and get 30% off the cheapest.

2. Buy any 3 Faulding items, one being Fish Oil 200 capsules and receive 20% off the cheapest item.

3. Buy any 3 Revlon products and get 5% discount for each product.

Multibuy for set sales price

The customer can purchase the specified number of qualifying products for the specified price.

You can choose to apply the promotion more than once to the sales basket.

You can allow the discount on each additional item.

1. Buy three toothbrushes for $10 (normal retail price $3.95 each).

 

This allows the customer to purchase six toothbrushes for $20.

This applies a discount to ALL toothbrushes in the sale (customer purchases 4 toothbrushes).

Tiered multibuy for % off

Purchasing the minimum quantity of products enables the customer to receive up to 3 tiers of discount when they purchase that number of products.

The first tier of discount is applied to ALL products in the sale, until the next level is reached.

All products that you add to your promotion are both qualifying and discountable.

1. Buy 2 Revlon products & receive 10% discount, buy 4 Revlon products & receive 15% discount and buy 6 Revlon products & receive 20% discount.

 

10% discount is applied if the customer purchases three Revlon products.

Tiered multibuy for $ amount

Purchasing the minimum quantity of products enables the customer to receive up to 3 tiers of discount when they purchase that number of products.

At the till, the discount is NOT applied to additional items outside of the tier quantities.

All products that you add to your promotion are both qualifying and discountable.

1. Buy 2 L’Oreal products for $15, buy 4 L’Oreal products for $30 and buy 5 L’Oreal products for $45.

If the customer purchases 3 L’Oreal products, no discount is applied to that product.

The Promotion Workflow

The basic promotion workflow is very similar for both pharmacy created promotions and promotions that are imported as a file.
