Customers can earn Loyalty Currency on lay-by sales; however, they do not receive the Loyalty Currency until they make the final payment on the lay-by.

The process for creating a lay-by from a Loyalty sale is the same as for a non-Loyalty sale, with the exception that you must scan the customer’s Loyalty card.

To create a lay-by from a Loyalty sale:

1. Ensure that you have scanned the customer’s Loyalty card.

2. Follow the usual process for creating a lay-by.

3. Ask the customer to sign the store copy of the docket, and give the customer their copy.

4. Inform the customer that they will only receive the Loyalty earned on the lay-by sale when they make the final payment.
