You can set and manage Minimum Order Thresholds (MOTs) in Minfos for Suppliers and Companies. Minimum Order Thresholds may be set as a dollar value or quantity.

Minimum Order Thresholds can be set by your pharmacy in Minfos.

Note     Minimum Order Thresholds can also be automatically set by your head office or banner group. Refer to your head office or banner group for more information.

Set a Minimum Order Threshold for a Supplier in Minfos

1. In Stock Manager, click Maintenance and select 2. Suppliers.

The Supplier Maintenance window is displayed.

2. Find the relevant Supplier.
3. Select the Supplier and click Change.

The Supplier Editing window is displayed.

4. Click the Order Settings tab.

5. In the Minimum Order Thresholds panel, click the Min. Order Threshold Type dropdown and select either $ Value or Quantity. 
6. In the Value field, enter the applicable Minimum Order Threshold $ Value or Quantity Value.
7. Enter an explanatory Note. E.g. MOT for free freight.
8. To begin applying the MOT immediately, check Apply Minimum Order Thresholds. Then click OK.
   Alternatively, to save the Minimum Order Threshold but not yet apply it, leave Apply Minimum Order Thresholds unchecked and click OK.

Set a Minimum Order Threshold for a Company in Minfos

1. In Stock Manager, click Maintenance and select 3. Companies.

The Company Maintenance window is displayed.

2. Find the relevant Company.
3. Select the relevant Company and click Change.

The Company Editing window is displayed.

4. In the Minimum Order Thresholds panel, click the Min. Order Threshold Type dropdown and select either $ Value or Quantity.
5. In the Value field, enter the applicable Minimum Order Threshold $ Value or Quantity Value.
6. Enter an explanatory Note. E.g. MOT for free freight.
7. To begin applying the MOT immediately, check Apply Minimum Order Thresholds. Then click OK.
   Alternatively, to save the Minimum Order Threshold but not yet apply it, leave Apply Minimum Order Thresholds unchecked and click OK.
