Minfos Pilot Stores Only 
From 8.2.1 Minfos facilitates dispensing directly from Electronic National Residential Charts. Your eNRMC software vendor also requires conformance to integrate with this feature. This functionality is currently in pilot as eNRMC software vendors achieve conformity.

eNRMC items can be dispensed from either:

 

Dispense from an eNRMC Chart token

1. Scan the token into the Surname or Drug field on the Dispense Form.

2. Minfos will attempt to match the patient on the eNRMC to a patient in your database.

a. If the patient can be matched the eNRMC window is displayed. Skip to Step 3.

b. If the patient on the script cannot be exactly matched to a patient in your database, the Select Customer Record window is displayed.

i. If the patient is listed, then highlight the patient and click Select.

ii. Or if the patient cannot be found, click Add as a new customer to add the patient to your database.

c. If the patient exists in your database but their details on the eNRMC differ to the patient’s details on record, the Update Customer Details window is displayed.

i. Select the Update checkbox for any details that require updating in your database, then click Yes to update the patient’s record.

ii. If there are no details required to be updated, click No.

3. The RACF ID from the eNRMC is validated in Minfos.

a. If the selected patient is not assigned to a Nursing Home a Warning is displayed.

    i. Click Yes to continue dispensing the item. 

b. If the Nursing Home for the selected patient does not have a RACF ID assigned a Warning is displayed.

    i. Click Yes to continue dispensing the item.

c. If the RACF ID on the eNRMC matches the RACF ID of a different Nursing Home in Minfos a Warning is displayed.

    i. Click Yes to continue dispensing the item.

4. The eNRMC window is displayed listing all items eligible for dispensing.

This information is downloaded from the token and cannot be edited for eNRMCs.
This information can be edited for paper NRMCs.

Dispense

Tick the checkbox to select the item for dispensing.


Note: Items where ----- is displayed in this field require a separate prescription and cannot be selected.

Qty Available

Quantity of supplies available shown as supplies remaining / total supplies.


Note: This field will display as blank where the item is set to Max Supply (i.e. there is no limit on the supplies that can be dispensed).

Item Description

Drug name as written by the prescriber.

Matched

Items that are successfully drug matched are checked.

f

Start Date

Start Date of the item.

g

Stop Date

Stop Date of the item. This cannot be edited for eNRMCs. This can be edited for paper NRMCs.

h

Selected eNRMC item

Displays eNRMC item details as they are downloaded from the PDS (similar to a standard eScript).

i

Previous Supply

If available, displays previous dispensing details if the item has been previously dispensed.

Show XML

Click to view the original eNRMC.

Print a copy of the selected eNRMC item. Refer to Print a copy of an eScript.

5. Check the Dispense checkboxes for all items you wish to dispense, then click OK.

6. The Dispense Form is populated with the first item selected.

Note
If the item is not matched Minfos will perform the normal drug matching process before populating the Dispense Form.

7. Dispense the item as per your normal process.

8. Save and process the dispensing.

    a. If a single item was selected for dispensing: 

        i. Click OK. The Script Options window is displayed.

    b. If multiple items were selected for dispensing:

        i. Click Next. The Dispense Form is populated with the next item selected for dispensing. 


Dispense from an eNRMC Item token

a. If the patient can be matched Minfos will proceed to Step 3.

b. If the patient on the script cannot be exactly matched to a patient in your database, the Select Customer Record window is displayed.

i. If the patient is listed, then highlight the patient and click Select.

ii. Or if the patient cannot be found, click Add as a new customer to add the patient to your database.

c. If the patient exists in your database but their details on the eNRMC differ to the patient’s details on record, the Update Customer Details window is displayed.

i. Select the Update checkbox for any details that require updating in your database, then click Yes to update the patient’s record.

ii. If there are no details required to be updated, click No.
