After the pharmacist has dispensed a customer's prescription, it will need to be sold at the Till. These instructions should be followed when processing a sale including prescriptions for only one customer, to sell scripts to multiple customers, refer to Sell prescriptions for multiple customers.
Tip: Custom Totals Labels can be set up from Dispense Pro, the barcode from the label can then be scanned at the Till to add the scripts to the sale. Refer to Dispense Totals Labels for more information.
1. Enter your Clerk Code, then click Enter.
2. Either:
a. Click the Scripts button.
The Prescription Customer Selection window is displayed.
b. Enter the customer’s surname.
c. Ensure the required customer is selected, then click Enter.
d. The customer’s script items are shown on the sale window.
Or
a. In the Product Search field enter a [.], then the customers surname and click Enter. Eg: .citizen
b. Ensure the required customer is selected, then click Enter.
c. The customer’s script items are shown on the sale window.
3. Complete the sale as normal. Other items can be added before or after adding a script to the sale.
Select individual prescription items
Use this when all scripts aren’t collected, to select specific script items to be included in a sale. Scripts can easily be deleted from the sales basket by using delete.
1. Enter your Clerk Code, then press Enter.
2. Click the Scripts button.
The Prescription Customer Selection window is displayed.
3. Enter the customer’s surname.
4. Ensure the required customer is selected, then click Select Item.
The Prescription Selection window is displayed.
5. Un-highlight the script items that the customer does not want to purchase in this sale, by clicking the items. Items that will be added to the sale are highlighted blue.
6. Click Okay. The selected script items are shown on the sale window.
7. Complete the sale as normal. Other items can be added before or after adding a script to the sale.
