Updated functionality currently in Beta

1. From the Order Templates window, click Add.

The Order Template window is displayed.

2. Make the desired selections. For more information on the order options, refer to Generate an order.

3. The Order Date defaults to today's date. There is no need to update this field.

4.  Enter the date on which this order needs to be generated for the first time in the Next Date to Run field.

Note: Each time a Template Order is automatically generated, the Next Run Date will be updated in the Template Order list, as per the Frequency selected for each order.  

5. Click the Frequency dropdown and select how often you would like this order to be generated:  

  • Once Only: This order will run once based on the date set in the Next Date to Run. This order will be retained in the Order Templates list and can be recalled at any time
  • Daily: This order will run over night every day
  • Weekly: This order will run overnight every 7 days from the date entered
  • Fortnightly: This order will run every 14 days from the date entered
  • Monthly: This order will run overnight each month on the date entered
  • Custom: This order will run on the specified day and week of the specified month/s
The Custom Frequency groupbox is displayed when Custom is selected. The Next Date to Run field is disabled.

Select:

a. Which week of the month the order should run. 

Note: Select Last to generate the order on the last of the selected days in the month. For example, if Last Monday is selected in a month where there are 5 Monday's in the month, the order is generated on the 5th Monday. Where there are only 4 Mondays in a month, the order will generate on the 4th Monday.

b. The day the of the week order should run. c. The month the order should run. Select Every Month to generate the order every month. Tip: To generate two orders for the same supplier per month (E.g. one on the first Monday of the month and one on the third Friday), create two separate templates for the different weeks/days.

6. Click Save to save this Order Template.

The new Order Template is displayed in the Order Templates window.
