If there is a fixed price set for the quantity dispensed, Minfos will use this price.

Otherwise, if a fixed price is set for a single supply of the drug, Minfos will use the fixed price multiplied by the required quantity, divided by the original pack size. The wastage factor and container fee is then added to this total.

For example:

Solone 30 tabs with a fixed price of $8.00. Quantity required 5 tablets. The calculation is 5 divided by 30, multiplied by $8.00, plus the wastage factor and container fee.
Note:

  • The wastage factor and container fee are prices outlined on the PBS website.
  • If there is no fixed price set, Minfos will continue to use the calculated price.
