Follow all steps from Set Fixed Drug Pricing for Single Packs before following the instructions below to set up Fixed pricing for multiple packs. 

From the Dispense Pro window:

1. Click the Maintenance menu [Alt+M] and select M.Drug Pricing [M].

The Drug Pricing window is displayed.

2. Highlight the product then click Change [Alt+C].

The Drug Pricing Maintenance window is displayed.

3. Click Multiple Pack Pricing [Alt+M].

The Drug Pricing (Multiple Packs) window is displayed.

4. Click Add [Alt+A].

Note: The first pack price displayed on the list will always be for Zero Qty; this is the start point for all fixed pricing. If the fixed price displayed here is not the price for one pack, click change and enter the price.

The Drug Pricing Maintenance window is displayed.

5. Enter the Qty for one pack. For this example, the quantity is 20. If you are unsure what quantity to enter, dispense the product to a customers and use the quantity from the Dispense Form.

Note: The quantity entered here has to be the quantity that is dispensed e.g. for some contraceptive pills the quantity would be 1 or 4, if you are unsure of the correct quantity to enter, dispense the drug on another workstation to see the quantity that is dispensed.


6. The price will default to the value previously entered for a single pack.

7. Click OK.

8. Click Add.

The Drug Pricing Maintenance window is displayed.

9. Adjust the Qty for the next multiple pack.

10. Adjust the Price for the pack of 40.

11. Review the Final Price, GP$ and GP% values.

12. Click OK [Enter].

13. The Drug Pricing (Multiple Packs) window is displayed.

14. Continue with steps 2 to 13, until all multiple packs for that drug are configured.

15. Click OK to save, when all multiples for the drug have been added.

When a drug is de-selected, the M icon will appear, indicating Multiple Pack pricing is configured for that drug. Products that have Fixed Pricing will have FP to the right of price column.

16. Press Cancel to close the Drug Pricing window.
