You can set up a maximum of four regular services as additional account charges and you can also set up the same service multiple times at different prices.

Note: Ensure that the service you wish to charge to accounts has been set up as product type Service. Refer to Add a Service product for further guidance.

To set up a service as a recurring account charge   

From the Minfos Launch Pad:

1. Click the Special menu and select Utilities.

The Utilities module is displayed.

2. Click the Config menu and select 1. Shop Configuration.

The Shop Configuration window is displayed.

3. Click the Customers tab.4. In the textbox, search for the service for which you want to create an additional account charge e.g., PACKING FEE and press [Tab]. The service’s product number, name and retail price are displayed.

5. If required, enter a different retail price in the charge $ textbox. This will NOT affect the Retail Price of the service stock card.

Note: The Retail Price of the service stock card and the charge in this window are not related, the charge DOES NOT update when you change the Retail Price of the service stock card.

6. Click the dropdown and select either:

  • Weekly, to charge for the service each week
  • Monthly, to charge for the service each month
Note: Weekly services are charged to the customer’s account each Monday and monthly services are charged on the last day of each month, as part of your end of day process.

 7. Repeat steps 4 to 6, for each recurring charge you want to set up.

Tip: The same service stock card can be used for the same service at different prices.

8. When you have set up all of your required additional account charges, click OK to save.
